GOOGLE will be bringing a new dimension to the latest Hereford Means Business Expo next month.

While organisers promise a “show stopping” display of enterprise from the county for the event on November 8 between 10am and 3pm, there is a palpable air of excitement at news that Google will be in town to host two exclusive seminars.

More than 60 Herefordshire-based businesses will be setting out their stall at the Three Counties Hotel in Belmont Road for this second Hereford Means Business show this year. Several hundred visitors are expected to attend, said Rich Beale.

“It’s the ideal place for anyone wishing to make new contacts, increase visibility and browse a variety of products and services all under one roof,” he explained. A similar event was held in Ross-on-Wye earlier this year.

“We are very excited to announce that Google will be coming,” said Mr Beale. Those hoping to attend the ‘Tell Your Story Online’ seminar – teaching delegates how to gain an advantage in the ever changing digital age – and ‘Reach New Customers Online’ are advised to book early.

The two presentations are designed to help businesses become more visible and develop ways of attracting new customers.

Speaking about the Hereford Means Business expo held in April, local businessman Richard Cuthbertson said the show was awaited with “much anticipation”. He explained: “We are always looking for ways to offer our services to local people.” Mr Cuthbertson was not disappointed:

“Our stand was met with a rapturous crowd of delegates interested in our services and we followed up with some great new contacts and clients.”

He continued: “We highly recommend the expo to anyone wishing to further their business exposure in the local area.”

Attendance is free with entrance to the seminars on a first come first served basis. However, the Google talks must be pre-registered.
