A HEREFORD start-up business could be pitching to Richard Branson this June.

Osha – founded in February 2016 by husband and wife team Mark and Louise Stevenson – is one of hundreds of start-up and growing businesses taking part in Virgin’s 2016 #VOOM competition.

Based at the new Hereford Business Solutions Centre in Rotherwas, Osha aims to change the way the nation gets their windows cleaned by creating a way for people to find, book and also pay for their window cleaner online.

Entering #VOOM for the first time, Osha’s founders are hoping to be one of 80 businesses who get to go through to the second stage – a world recording breaking 29 hour pitchathon.

If successful, they could be pitching to Richard Branson at the end of June and hopefully winning a share of £1,000,000 for their business.

Mark Stevenson, co-founder of Osha, said: "The first stage of the competition is by public vote, so as a new business starting up in Hereford we’re hoping people will support us by going onto the website and voting, so we can help push Hereford businesses right up there on the map."
