THE first Hereford Jelly is being set up to join together the creative industry scene.
Organisers say it is nothing to do with a kid’s party or wobbly sweet food - but everything to do with enjoyment, getting together, and getting creative.
A Jelly is a free and fun ‘co-working’ event where people with a common interest in creating things can meet, socialise, discuss creative processes and develop ideas for working collaborations – for love or financial gain.
It is being organised by Hereford MAKE, a community interest company already known for its MAKE Forge rentable blacksmithing forges.
Hereford MAKE recently launched MAKE Studios offering general craftworking space and equipment at its premises at 2 Harrow Road, Hereford.
This also provides the venue for the forthcoming series of Jelly events, the first of which is on Friday, September 25 from 6 to 8pm will be a makers’ meet-and-greet – an opportunity for all to get involved and help set the agenda.
The Hereford MAKE Jelly, wi-fi and parking are all free of charge, but attendees are asked to contribute for tea and cake.
Booking requested on Facebook (search HerefordMakeCIC) or by ringing 01432 271255 www.herefordmake.co.uk
