A BUSINESS energy advisor who works for a Hereford-based utility helpline has been in the spotlight for her sales performance.

Fiona Howe, who works for www.utilityhelpline.co.uk, has been crowned sales professional of the year at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCAs) 2015.

Fiona overcame tough competition from some of the UK's biggest energy consultancies to win the national award. Success was all the sweeter because she was nominated by her customers, who recognised the hard work she puts in to ensuring they purchase gas and electricity competitively and transparently.

Her case was then considered by two expert judging panels, which recognised Fiona’s wealth of industry knowledge, commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.

In a complex market, where business customers can feel confused and overwhelmed when purchasing energy, this award focuses on honesty, integrity and hard work – rewarding those who go over and above what is expected

“I can’t believe it, it’s such an honour to be recognised like this and to win against some of the sector’s best and brightest is absolutely fantastic,” said Fiona.

Utility Helpline, a local utilities broker which sponsors Hereford Rugby Club, is well-known for its customer-focussed approach.

Managing director Richard Bonelle said: “As a small energy brokerage, this is an incredible win for Utility Helpline.

"It shows that our small and close-knit team can compete with the biggest consultancies, which employ hundreds of sales people.”
