Hanging around: Tristan Jones
TRISTAN Jones, of Hereford Cathedral School, is an Arkwright winner.
Tristan's 2014 Arkwright Scholarship Award identifies him as one of the country's future leaders in engineering and related areas of design.
His hammock frame - part of a Design & Technology GCSE portfolio - was called "amazing" by scholarship selectors.
The Arkwright Scholarships Trust administers a scheme intended to identify, inspire and nurture future leaders in engineering and technical design.
Engineering scholarships support students through their A Levels and encourage students to pursue engineering or technical Design at university or through a higher-level apprenticeship.
