FOUR Herefordshire companies have clinched coveted awards at this year's Chamber Business Awards.
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce revealed the winners in front of 400 business leaders from across the two counties at its awards ceremony at the Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich.
Hidelow House Cottages, which provides short term holiday breaks in the luxury holiday cottage and bed and breakfast markets, won the sustainability award for the county, impressing judges with its commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
In the exporter of the year category Ledbury based Haygrove Tunnels, whose horticultural growing systems are used in 50 countries, beat off competition to win the award.
In the contribution in the community category Kingspan Insulation received an award in recognition of its efforts to fulfil its corporate social responsibility to its local community.
Meat producers Cargill came out on top in the commitment to people development category, demonstrating excellence in its approach to workforce development.
