On Wednesday l had to pleasure of representing Cancer Research UK at a cheque presentation.
As the Secretary of the local fundraising group for Cancer Research UK (Hereford Stars) l was asked to accept a cheque on our local regions behalf.
Clarke Roxburgh the Insurance company in Commercial Road, Hereford recently sent out a questionaire for feedback about their business.
They very kindly offered to donate a £1 for each questionaire returned.
It was very successful and they raised £400 - Well Done!
So it was with pleasure l went along to accept the cheque, from them. This was immediately banked into the CRUK / Newport account. Newport is the regional office for this area.
It is support like this that means Cancer Research UK can make so much difference.
