My mum rang me early today because she spotted my picture in The Hereford Times. I'm not sure that she knows what a 'blogger' is though.....

I actually prefer my son's description. He saw the piccy in the paper, laughed and called me a 'boggler' for The Hereford Times.

A boggler.

To boggle.

Boggle can refer to:

* Boggle, a word game
* Boggart or boggle, a creature in Celtic mythology
* Boggle (game show), a Wink Martindale-hosted interactive game show that aired on The Family Channel in 1994.
* Boggle (monster), a monster in C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia series.
(from Wikipedia Wikipedia, 1 Nov 2007)

So, I'm either good at word games and game shows or am some kind of monster/creature.

Looking at this I think I'd prefer to be good at word games, if you don't mind.

Anyway, I'm about to go out in a minute to the dentist, but I thought I'd take a pen with me in case I get mobbed by autograph hunters. Did I mention my picture's in The Hereford Times today ? Twice.

I have teeth that make Austin Powers look like a dental masterpiece.

Unfortunately, manky teeth and dentists does not a rich man make.

I waited ages to get an NHS dentist, but finally subscribed to one of these 'pay now, claim back later' schemes.

Typical really. As soon as I started going, I got a letter from this place ......

Never mind. As far as I'm concerned, the only difference between dental surgeries is what is on the ceiling to entertain you whilst lying prone with some marvelous whizzing machinery spinning away in your mouth.

Well, I may do some more 'boggling' later today, but I have to dash as I've just seen the Ready-mix lorry go past with the stuff for my fillings.

Later....
