Today I've booked the Pizza Express for our first meeting out in full Red Hat regalia. So far we've got 8 attending and it looks like our little social club is going to take off. We are going to meet on Dec. 12th at 7:00 P.M.

Just in case you haven't read previous blogs about the Red Hat Society. It's a club for women 50 and over (though we are permitted to have affiliate members of a younger age) who are ready to have a little fun. We are just getting started so we don't have any activities booked as yet other then our Christmas meeting. The Red Hat Society has no rules except that when you go out together you wear a red hat and purple clothing (pink hat and lavendar clothing for under 50s). We have a lovely group of forward thinking ladies from all walks of life and I for one am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of them.

As a result of a newspaper article in the Journal we've had 18 enquiries about the club. There is at the moment another chapter forming out in the Leominster/Bodenham area.
