The junction at the southern end of Edgar Street is due to be upgraded
THREE of the biggest road junctions in Hereford are set for a £900,000 upgrade.
Highways Agency bosses confirmed this week that major works will take place at the Belmont roundabout, the Starting Gate roundabout in Holmer and the ring road junction at the southern end of Edgar Street.
It will start will Belmont next year and should be finished by 2014.
The government agency says work on all three sites will support both Hereford’s multi-million pound Old Market retail development and the Rotherwas Enterprise Zone.
In Worcestershire, Highways Agency will spend £11.3 million on widening and realigning a roundabout on junction four of the M5 motorway in Bromsgrove.
