A 39-year-old woman died after being in a traffic collision near Presteigne.
Dyfed-Powys Police, West Midlands Ambulance and Welsh Ambulance crews were called to the B4355 between Presteigne and Norton just after 7.15pm on Friday (October 12) after reports of a collision.
It is believed that a 39-year-old woman was in collision with a car.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys has confirmed that the woman was taken to County Hospital in Hereford, but later died from her injuries.
Witnesses are asked to call police on 101.
