A HUSBAND accused of murdering his missing wife has pleaded not guilty - 10 months after she disappeared from their north Herefordshire home.

John Taylor, of Mortimer Drive, Orleton, denied killing retired schoolteacher Alethea Taylor at Worcester Crown Court this morning (Monday).

Alethea was last seen on January 19. No body has ever been found.

Funeral home director Taylor, aged 60, will go on trial on February 18 next year.
