Quakers in High Town, Hereford

Quakers have been part of Hereford life for 300 years - this Saturday (Sept 29) High Town shoppers get to see what they're all about.

To mark National Quaker Week, the Hereford group is hosting a stall by WH Smiths offering leaflets and chat between 10am-2.30pm.

While the stall is in High Town, the Friends Meeting House in King Street is running  a booksale where Quaker literature sits alongside second-hand fiction and non-fiction.

Visitors can also view the Hereford Tapestry, designed and worked by Hereford Quakers.

Proceeds from the book sale will go to the Prisoners of Conscience charity.
