HEREFORD Sea Cadets has opened its new headquarters.

The new £250,000 building at Wyeside, funded by benefactor Clive Richards and the Veolia Environmental Trust, replaces several ramshackle huts.

Speaking at the opening Lieutenant Sheila Taylor RNR said: “The whole project has been eclipsed this evening by watching the faces of our cadets, and the pride and enjoyment they show in being able to show off their Sea Cadet skills to the great and good of Herefordshire.”

Nice forward thinking putting it on stilts too :-)
