Herefordshire "penguin" is skydiving for a good cause

ONE ‘penguin’ is proving that it can fly – if only for a few seconds.

Stephanie Hinksman, from Tupsley, Hereford, will don a penguin costume in a charity skydive for St Michael’s Hospice.

Stephanie, aged 39, hopes tomorrow's jump in Wiltshire will raise £2,000 and has already ruffled the bird’s feathers by taking a test dive in a wind tunnel earlier this summer.

To support Stephanie visit justgiving.com /Stephanie-Hinksman38 or text JUMP11 followed by the amount you want to give to 70070.

  • Also taking the leap for charity is Ella Nichols, from Leominster , who will jump on the same day at the same location, also for St Michael’s Hospice. She is doing the jump as a thank you for the care given to her granddad, Sylvek Hoffman.
  • And Laura Teece, from Hunderton, Hereford, has so far raised £750 for the hospice after completing her own skydive this month. Further donations can be made at justgiving.com/Laura-Teece .
