Two dozen "game birds" have ditched their inhibitions – and their clothes – for a cheeky fundraising calendar.

Friends of Rich Warr, who died in a car crash near Shobdon last August, have put together the 2013 GameBirds calendar to raise money for the Midlands Air Ambulance .

Twenty-four women, aged 18 to mid-40s, plucked up the courage for pose for the saucy shoot. The pictures were taken by Rich’s sister Gemma.

Friend Zoe Hooper, who came up with the idea and enlisted Rich’s friends and relatives through Facebook, said 21-year-old Rich loved country sports and was always up for daring challenges and new experiences.

“The calendar isn’t just a fund-raising campaign to say thank you to Midlands Air Ambulance for its outstanding efforts to save Rich, but it is a way of capturing Rich’s intense lust for life and everything he stood for,” said Zoe.

Richard, who was from Pencombe, died on August 5.
