Match between Wellington and Ewyas Harold abandoned after player sustains a suspected broken leg

A FOOTBALL match between Wellington and Ewyas Harold was abandoned with five minutes to go on Saturday (Sep 15) after a Harold player sustained a suspected broken leg.
 

Wellington were winning 2-0 at the time, before the HFA Premier League Division match was halted following the injury to Matt Wilson.

Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were called to Wellington playing fields just after 4.05pm and treated Matt at the scene before taking him to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
 

It is understood that the result will stand.
