HEREFORDSHIRE and its borders were well represented when the awards were handed out at the Crusader Worcestershire County League's annual dinner.
Kington were presented with the Division 1 championship award while Wormelow picked up a similar award for Division 3 South where Monmouth received the runners-up trophy.
Monmouth also received the runners-up trophy for the second Xl competition in Division 3 South where Colwall carried off the title.
Brockhampton also collected second Xl silverware as their second string were runners-up in the Division 1 competition.
Forty five clubs have benefited from three years of Crusader's sponsorship for the league either through equipment or subsidised training with the company's £15,000 sponsorship deal also drawing extra funding from Sportsmatch.
Clubs have been supplied with 43 coaching mats; 70 Kwik cricket sets; 118 junior bats; 1146 junior cricket ball; 24 pairs of wicket-keeping pads; 25 pairs of wicket-keeping gloves; 29 pairs of batting pads; 40 pairs of batting gloves; 22 sets of junior stumps; 42 sets of spring-back stumps and 1 bowling machine complete with video.
One hundred and thirteen people attended coaching courses, 52 first-aid courses, 57 child welfare and protection courses, 22 introduction to coaching courses and six time to listen' courses.
