HOLDERS Kington Town will begin their defence of the Presteigne Otway Cup with a second round tie at home to another Herefordshire club, Wellington.

The draw, which was made in the Royal Oak, Presteigne, handed Newbridge a trip to Woofferton in a first round meeting, with the reward for the winners being a home tie against Knighton Town in round two.

Elsewhere in the second round, host club Presteigne St Andrews will take on Ludlow Town at Llanandras Park, while there will be an all-Hereford tie at Hinton where Pegasus Juniors will be the visitors.

There are 17 teams involved in this season's Alfred Sparey Cup, with Penybont United due to entertain Rhosgoch Rangers in the only first round tie. The victors will face a second round trip to the holders, Hay St Mary's.
