Olympic paint job for phone box near Weobley, Herefordshire

Picture by Mark Rogers Picture by Mark Rogers

WHILE Royal Mail paints post boxes gold to celebrate Great Britain’s Olympic success, a mystery decorator has added a splash of red, white and blue to a phone box in Herefordshire.

A Union flag has been painted on top of the kiosk between Ledgemoor and Weobley Marsh.

This picture of the patriotic paint job was sent in by Mark Rogers, 44, who said: “Well done to the mystery decorator.

It’s a great improvement over its faded, former appearance.”
