TWO sisters will jump out of a plane in memory of their father, Anthony Gough, who died of an asthma attack.
Charlotte, 20, and Gemma Gough, 22, from Hereford, will jump from a plane alongside their uncle Dan Stretton and friend Katie Cole in Shrewsbury tomorrow (Friday). They are raising money for Asthma UK.
Former lorry driver Tony died in March, aged 49, following an asthma attack.
“He was a very fit and healthy man, but no-one was aware just how severe his asthma was until after his death,” said Charlotte.
“We are all very nervous but really excited about the skydive, but dad would have loved the fact that we’re doing it.
“He would be so proud. He used to be in the Territorial Army and was always saying how he’d love to see me and my sisters jump out of a plane the way he used to.”
Tony, who grew up in Marden , also left his wife Helen, daughter Elizabeth, aged 10, and son, Frazer, 12.
