A CROSS-country race will raise money for Hereford County Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit.

Ian and Michelle Lancaster are holding the 10km (6.2 mile) Credenhill Canter on August 26 in memory of their twin boys, Freddie and Alfie, who died in July 2008 after being born 24-and-a-half weeks premature.

The twins were cared for at Hereford County Hospital’s special care baby unit (SCBU).

Ian, Michelle and their 15- month-old son Theo have organised a race around their home village to say thank you to the SCBU staff. Money raised will be split between the unit and St Mary's Church in Credenhill where the boys are buried.
