More than 120 reports of flooding made in Herefordshire today
Herefordshire Council has received more than 120 reports of flooding across the county today and hundreds of people have turned up for sandbags.
More than 4,000 sandbags have been handed out and more are currently being made up. At one point today the council, and its partner Amey, had more than 60 men working across the county to help people affected by flooding.
The council has received reports of around 30 flooded roads and it has set out more than 1,200 information boards to advise motorists.
A rest centre has also been set up in Ross-on-Wye and hundreds of calls dealt with by its switchboard.
Areas such as Smallbrook Gardens in Ross-on-Wye will be monitored through the night
