Tributes to teenager who died of suspected asthma attack

Bianca Hart died last Thursday Bianca Hart died last Thursday

Tributes have been paid to Hereford teenager Bianca Hart who is the third person to die of a suspected asthma attack in the county in the past two months.

Bianca, from Tupsley, collapsed outside the County Hospital during the early hours of last Thursday (June 28) shortly after calling her mum to say that she was having an asthma attack.

Paramedics battled to save the 18-year-old, but she died a few hours later.

Bianca was socialising with friends on the night she died but police have denied rumours that her death was linked to her drink being spiked.

“Bianca lived life to the full, loved to be around her friends and socialising around the town,” said her sister Charlotte.

“She was a very caring person, trustworthy, lively, beautiful, angelic by nature, fashionable and a confident person.”

Bianca’s funeral will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 12.30pm at St Peter’s Church, Hereford, followed by a wake at Watercress Harry’s. One hundred balloons will be released from the Cathedral Close and the family has asked friends to bring along photographs of Bianca. Donations can be sent to Dawe Brothers funeral directors.

For more tributes see this week’s Hereford Times.

Bianca’s death follows that of 14-year-old Ross-on-Wye schoolgirl Lauren Hughes and green burial pioneer Linda Robinson, aged 48, who both died of suspected asthma attacks.

A really tragic thing to happen, but why release balloons which can cause harm to farm animals, wildlife and cause pollution, planting a tree or something more lasting would be more fitting to this beautiful young lady. RIP Bianca x
