A proposal to build 81 new homes on a site just outside Hereford will cause chaos if roads and paths are not upgraded first, according to a concerned county councillor.
Coun Phil Edwards, a Herefordshire Council member for the Belmont ward, says plans should not be approved until the infrastructure in and around the south of the city is improved.
Lioncourt Homes is holding an exhibition on its plans for a development near Home Farm, Ruckhall Lane, at Hedley Lodge, Belmont Abbey, tomorrow (Tuesday - 11.30amam to 7.30pm).
The invitation to residents from Lioncourt Homes – which is currently preparing to submit a planning application – said it would likely put money towards the cost of new infrastructure, such as the Hereford relief road, if the scheme is granted outline permission.
