Firefighters rescuing three stranded children from the River Wye
FOUR children have been rescued after getting stranded on an island in the River Wye in Hay.
Emergency services were called to Bridge Street at 11.55am.
The group had been canoeing, but there was no sign of any canoes when crews arrived.
Paramedics checked them over, but there were no reports of any serious injuries.
