Peters pulls out of Hereford United fans forum

HEREFORD United director of football Gary Peters will not attend a fans forum at Edgar Street next week.

Peters said he doesn't want the new management duo of Martin Foyle and Andy Porter to get "tangled up" with what went on last season.

He said: "I feel that Martin and Andy should go to their first forum on their own.

"They can meet the fans, look forward to the coming season, explain their plans and not get tangled up in what went on last season."

He said he was willing to attend a forum on his own, or with chairman David Keyte, in the coming weeks.

Foyle and Porter worked together at both Port Vale and York City.

They were appointed after Richard O'Kelly turned down the offer of managing the Bulls full-time.
