CONTROVERSIAL plans to stage an alternative Jubilee bash in a Leominster street may have been scuppered by a housing association.

Marches Housing Association has told the Ashley Madison group it is “not welcome” to hold the party which is aimed at Cheaton Close residents who wish to have an affair.

Marches managing director Phil Green has contacted the dating agency, which markets itself as the world’s premier married dating site, saying as landowners they will oppose Sunday’s party.

The latest opposition comes on the back of plans for a protest by around 25 Cheaton Close residents.

Since announcing it was heading for Leominster, Ashley Madison’s plans have caused fury.

And in the past few days this has grown after promotional party packs containing condoms were delivered to householders.

Organisers have also promised those attending a choice of cocktails including Sex on the Street and invited them to ‘play away’ games including The Farmer Wants Somebody Else’s Wife.
