New car park planned for railway station

A former car sales yard next to Leominster railway station could be turned into a car park.

Town councillor Molly Cooke says the idea could alleviate parking problems in the Worcester Road area.

Almost 40 cars could fit on the site, which is currently being used by contractors building new passenger lifts at the station.

A decision on whether the change of land application can go ahead is due from Herefordshire councillors by the first week of June.
