Fairfield High School closed due to flooding
Fairfield High School in Peterchurch is closed due to flooding.
Herefordshire Council said the school is closed today (May 1) after the River Dore burst its banks. The school is not readily accessible, but remains open to staff who can get in.
Elsewhere in the county, the Dulas Brook in the Golden Valley has broken its banks and caused flooding in Ewyas Harold.
Flood alerts are currently in place for the rivers Lugg, Frome, Arrow and Teme.
