Powys Youth Orchestra hit the right note when it performed ‘Jubilee Dances’ at its first ever concert during the Queen’s 60th year as monarch.
A total of 60 players from across the Welsh county performed the piece – originally composed for her Silver Jubilee in 1977 – at the Pavilion in Llandrindod Wells ahead of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee to Glanusk Park on April 27.
