ST MARGARET’S CHOIR - The choir is looking for new members. Whether you sing bass, tenor, alto or soprano, you would be more than welcome to come along and see if you enjoy it – there is no formal audition. It is not essential to read music and while you would be expected to attend church regularly, every Sunday is not compulsory. Meet on Fridays at 5.30pm at Auberrow Common, for one hour, usually followed by a glass of wine and a chat. As well as singing in church, the choir also entertains groups such as Silver Threads from time to time. RACE NIGHT - Enjoy a night at the races at The Wellington on Sunday. The course opens at 7pm with horses coming under starter’s orders for the first race at 7.30pm.
Race cards cost £4 which includes a finger buffet. Proceeds from the evening are in aid of the Wellington Bell Restoration Appeal.
