FIRE crews called to deal with a burning lorry in Madley could have been forgiven for thinking that there was a mix-up in their control room.

For when they arrived on the scene they were met by another fire engine giving the impression that they were double-booked to deal with the emergency.

But this was no mistake - just an encounter with Herefordshire’s own D.I.Y firemen, Ian Price and John Lewis.
