Overall winnners Jumping Ships will be mentored by Chris England from Mid West Rural, while The Starlight Company will benefit from the expertise of Andy Edwards from Thorne Widgery Accountants, and Rayeesa’s Indian Kitchen will be guided by John King, serial entrepreneur and trouble shooter.

Jumping Ships is in the running to have a chance of being mentored by Deborah Meaden, star of TV’s Dragons’ Den,after gaining a place in the national round of our Local Business Accelerators (LBA) competition.

All three companies have won a substantial allocation of free advertising space in the Hereford Times.

The nationwide LBA competition, launched in October by regional and local newspapers across the country in association with the Newspaper Society, will see 1,500 firms altogether receive £15 million of free press advertising to help boost their businesses in 2012.
