POLICE have confirmed that nothing suspcious was found in the van that caused a bomb scare in Hereford this afternoon.
The local policing team in South Wye have said that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team searched the vehicle, but no explosives or devices were found.
The scare caused Tesco to be evacuated and Belmont Road to be closed, causing gridlock throughout the city.
All roads are now being re-opened and Tesco is due to re-open later this evening.
