THE bomb squad has again failed to get inside the van at the centre of a bomb scare in Hereford.
Police pulled over the van at the Belmont Tesco store shortly before midday today in relation to a domestic incident.
A device was found to be attached to the van, but at this stage it is still unclear if it is a bomb.
The Tesco store and petrol station were immediately evacuated and a 200 metre cordon placed around the white Citroen van.
The bomb squad were called and have so far carried out three controlled explosions in an attempt to get inside the van.
They have been using a remote controlled vehicle with a camera but their attempts to enter the van have so far failed.
The whole of Belmont Road is currently closed, with diversions put in place in Grafton Lane and Ross Road.
