A VILLAGE nursery that was destroyed by flooding has made a fairytale move to a new home.

Jack in the Box Nursery finally opened for business on Monday in the grounds of Bosbury Primary School.

Lessons were moved to the village hall in January after flooding ruined their previous home during the Christmas break.

Staff only managed to salvage a few items as water from a burst frozen pipe leaked into the temporary cabin for several days.

The learning process became much easier last week when staff finally received the keys to a purpose- built log cabin.

“The last building was a total write off – lots of things were completely destroyed,” said administrator Lauren Saunder.

“We have been waiting ever since for a new building, but we’ve now got a beautiful cabin with a veranda around it.”

Jack in the Box, which looks after around 45 children, wanted to thank parents for their support after the flooding.

They also thanked the school for the plot, which includes a wooded area. For more details contact 01531 640949.
