THE mother of a Hereford woman killed in a road crash near Ledbury has paid tribute to her.

Emma Young, aged 23, died after her blue Renault Clio left the road and hit a tree just before the Trumpet Crossroads at around 10.05pm on Thursday.

In a statement released on behalf of the family, Emma's mother Angela Tyler, known as Ang, said that her daughter was at the height of her happiness.

"She was an unassuming, gentle, loving, caring individual who had always strived to do the right thing so that we would be proud of her," said Mrs Tyler.

"She had found true love and happiness and achieved her true vocation in life looking after children and young adults with special needs.

"The void she has left in our lives and hearts will never ever be filled."
