A labourer who kicked a Herefordshire pensioner to death in a park was today jailed for a minimum term of 18 years.
Alan Lee mounted a savage attack on 66-year-old Gordon Whitehouse in Gheluvelt Park, Worcester.
Lee stole the Whitbourne pensioner's wallet and pink mobile phone - but was tracked by CCTV leaving the murder scene in the early hours of July 15 last year.
Lee, aged 31, of Oakfield Road, Ombersley, Worcester, pleaded guilty to murder at Worcester Crown Court.
