Herefordshire vicar wrote colourful letter defending new TV comedy, 'Rev'

Why is it "colourful" from a vicar and offensive from others?
Is this a case of "God moves in mysterious ways".

If I swore whilst representing my employer, I'd be disciplined, not celebrated in the local rag.
