A PAIR of trainers worn by Herefordshire singing sensation Ellie Goulding has sold for £250.
The 24-year-old from Lyonshall joined forces with a host of celebrities in auctioning off her trainers to raise money for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham charity, which supports injured soldiers returning from Afghanistan.
The auction helped fund a new £1million Forces and Families Support Centre.
Andy Price, regional marketing manager for BRMB, who organised the auction, said: “Ellie is an incredibly popular singer and we were thrilled that she agreed to take part in this project to help support such a worthy cause.”
