BROMYARD celebrates 30 years of European friendship this week.
A delegation from the market town travelled to France on Wednesday (Jun 2) to re-affirm their twinning with the Normandy town of Athis.
The charter was signed on both sides of the Channel in 1980 thanks to help from a QE High School languages teacher.
The link was suggested by a counterpart in Ross-on-Wye, which is twinned with the nearby town of Condé-sur-Noireau.
Local families will house the group, who will visit a chateau, biscuit factory and battlefield during their four-day stay.
A delegation from Athis will make the return journey in July.
