ROB Weale, Pres-teigne's international bowler, faces a busy county and club programme after helping Wales to a disappointing fourth place in the British Isles Champion-ships at Llandrindod Wells.

The Wales team failed to make home advantage count and registered 46 points behind winners Scotland, who totalled 62 points, runners up Ireland, 59, and third placed England, 49.

Sunday's Mid-Wales finals at Llandrindod Wells could prove to be particularly hectic. He has already booked his place in two finals and could well figure in all four. In the singles final he takes on Rob Jones, from Builth Wells, and in the fours final he teams up with his three brothers, David, Stuart and Brian, against a rink from Brecon.

In the pairs competition he partners his brother David in a semi-final clash against Llandrindod's Tom Evans and Derek Mansley, and in the triples he joins his other two brothers, Brian and Stuart, to take on David's triple in an all Presteigne semi-final.

Sandwiched between these county commitments, all four brothers will be part of the Presteigne team who take on Pontymister, at Presteigne for a place in the quarter-finals of the WBA Carruthers Shield club knockout.
