Hereford United's youth team will take on a fresh look and a different league in the new season after joining forces with North Birmingham Coll-ege.

The side will play their home league games at Pelsall Villa, Walsall, in the Northern Division of the Programme for Academic and Sporting Excellence (PASE) League.

However, the side's FA Youth Cup and Midland Youth Cup ties will continue to be held at Edgar Street.

For the first year the team will effectively operate as a North Birming-ham College side, under the guise of Hereford United, as the Bulls currently have no YTS players.

Players will balance 14 hours of college work with 12 hours of football per week and Bulls boss Graham Turner hopes that the scheme will involve Holme Lacy College in the future.

HUISA are hold their annual painting weekend at Edgar Street this week in an effort to put some sparkle back into the inside and outside of the ground.

Volunteers are welcome from 10am each day.
