WATER cascading from the leaf canopy of a 15 ft high galvanised steel palm tree, (complete with coconuts) fabricated by Ledbury artist Stephen McRae, the champion blacksmith of this year's Three Counties Show, stands in the chicken populated yard of the Mayhill Gallery, The Barn at Hay Farm introducing a summer exhibition, Ah, Fill The Cup!
Using white painted scaffolding and the ceiling to show off prints, paintings, drawings, assemblages, and wonderful turquoise glazed pots, the exhibition is a celebration of life. The usual bicycles hang from the trees and 'Smile Please' is one of the signs that encourages visitors up to this good and fun exhibition.
Hereford artists taking part are Cecily Sash, Clive Hurman, Stephen McRae and Rachel Sycamore.
The exhibitions opens July 16 then Fridays-Sundays 10am-6pm or by appointment until August 13. For details telephone 01531 820068.
