MARCHES League Division 2 leaders Burghill & Tillington were toppled at third position Ledbury and lost by 65 runs after the home side made 249-9 with 110 from Danny Baker and 45 for P Elkington.

Alan Edge claimed 5-63 for Burghill, but his side crashed to 184 all out, despite 45 from Mike Preece.

High-flying Builth Wells made no mistake at home to bottom club Monmouth 2nd after they restricted their visitors to 112-9, with 34 from Steve Morgan.

Skipper Winston Williams (31 not out) led Builth to a seven-wicket victory with support from Gary Morgan (26), while Steve Morgan took 3-34.

Moccas comfortably saw off an eight-man Llanvap-ley side after their depleted visitors made 210-5, propelled by T Harbottle (84) but restricted by Ian Bannerman's 3-31.

Darren Chatt (83 not out) and Russell Howells (28 not out) hit Moccas home with six wickets and nine overs to spare, backed up by 38 for John Davies and 30 from Toby Collins.

Division 3 top team Ross 2nd lost their unbeaten record when visiting Garnons 2nd completed a two-wicket win in the final over of their match.
