PARISH COUNCIL - All councillors, two district councillors and the local beat manager were present at the July meeting of Kilpeck Group Parish Council held at Wormbridge School. The County Economic Development Plan, together with the Herefordshire Housing Needs Study, were discussed, together with an input from the two district councillors.The clerk gave a comprehensive report of the recent local forum meeting and of two meetings of the Herefordshire Association of Local Councils.The procedure for temporary closure of roads was noted and it was suggested notification of road works would be more useful if it was issued earlier. Details of panning applications had been received and a local application was considered. It was agreed to write to the planning department expressing the council's concern regarding the width of the road and geometry of the road junction by the village hall.The chairman and clerk would investigate the probability of opening a high rate deposit account. Other items discussed included pot holes in local roads and an overgrown hedge at Wormbridge.The meeting closed at 9.30 pm and the next meeting was provisionally arranged for Monday, September 4, at 7.30 pm
