IN the 1st Round of the Sunday Senior Cup, Fromes Hill progressed after a pulsating 120 minutes action against Club AC 30, which was ultimately decided on penalty kicks.

Fromes Hill wouldn't have thought about extra time, after they took a 3-0 half time lead. Club AC 30 however had other ideas and they fought back to 3-3 and then took a 4-3 advantage before Fromes Hill sprung back into life and equalised to take the game into extra time. After 30 minutes and one goal a piece the game inevitably went into penalties and Fromes Hill eventually won 5-4 to put their name in the draw for the second round. Goalscorers for the home side were Andy Brimmell, Peter Scrivens, Darren Smith and two goals from James Howard. AC30 scored through Matt Appleyard, Paul Edwards and a hat-trick from Arron Parr.

Bell Inn 98 overcame Intermilokal 6-4. They took a two goal lead through Tony Reynolds, Inter brought the score level and took a 3-2 lead before Dave Brocklesby equalised before half time to make it 3-3. Intermilokal then took a 4-3 advantage until Darren Cooke, Tony Reynolds and Dave Brocklesby gave them a clear advantage.

At Ledbury, Bull Allstars were not daunted by an inform LTFC 2000 side who had scored 24 the previous week. However LTFC took a 1-0 lead in the opening five minutes though James Dean, only for Bull Allstars to equalise mid way through the half.

A Peter Brown free-kick just outside the area allowed LTFC 2000 to take a 2-1 lead at the interval until 20 seconds into the second period when it was level at 2-2. The score remained level until the 62nd minute, when Robbie Colwell slotted home, this followed by James Dean and three further goals from Colwell to make the final score 7-2.

Portobello United are becoming accustomed to 5-1 scorelines for three consecutive weeks. This time they defeated Callow End Harriers with in form Terry Bramley collecting three goals in the first period to separate the sides. Callow End increased the tempo in the second half and were rewarded with a Chris Hill effort to give them some hope. However Matthew Panter headed in from a corner to increase the advantage and substitute Chris Rawlings made his first mark on the game by assisting Justin Davies to slot home after 87 minutes. United's man of the match was Matthew Panter and was it not for some brave goalkeeping by Callow End's Adrian Williams the score could have been more.

In the League Morgan enjoyed a 6-3 victory over Morgan Aero 8 at Sling Lane. Chris Jones grabbed a brace for Morgan, along with three for Richard Bird and a Andy Hill own goal. Morgan Aero 8 scored throught Matt Stokes and Alan Berrow (2).

Action in the U18s Youth Division saw Hereford Lads Club remain at the top after a 3-2 away win against Campden Town. Prolific goalscorer Andrew Sherlock was on target along with Gary Pawnes. James Hands scored twice for the home side.

Westbury 2000 picked up the points against KGV Community at Diglis with a 3-1 win and Tupsley Pegasus Junior overcame a spirited Kempsey side to triumph 5-3 with goals from Paul Harvey (2), Andrew Goodall, Steven Williams and Luke Temple. Chris Walton (2) and Stuart Stanton scored for Kempsey.
