MADAM, Having just returned home to the US after visiting family in Hereford for Christmas, I was amazed how congested and bad the traffic was in the city centre.
Hereford has to have a bypass to relieve traffic from a frequently gridlocked centre. It would also encourage businesses to come into the outskirts of the city, where access would be easier. 200 jobs losses at Bulmers should be all the encouragement the council needs to put the wheels in motion, rather than deciding everything at its normal snail's pace.
How long and how much has the Hereford tax payer being paying for this indecision?
