VALENTINE -- A delightful evening's entertainment was provided by the halfway Community Theatre at Much Birch Hall on February 14-15, the tables suitable decorated to celebrate Valentine's Day. The first half of the programme featured Much Birch Church Choir and Friends, The Halfway Community Theatre providing the second half after the supper interval. As somebody remarked after the performance, it's so nice to hear the buzz of conversation during the interval a feature of these entertaining evenings. The Halfway Community Theatre are always pleased to welcome new singers, particularly men able to hold a tenor or bass line (after a few rehearsals) and anyone interested should ring 540406 or 541202 for details. Rehearsals are already underway for 'Rustle of Spring' on April 11-12, and tickets should be ordered well in advance on 540406 or 540617.
